Your course length follows your starting point. All three routes lead to the same conversion-stage outcomes and practical assessment standard.

Start from the basics and build reliable workshop habits, broad ICE repair skills and deeper diagnostic practice — including a supervised workplace block — before moving into conversion.
Not sure which route? Register interest anyway — free screening (an interview and, for experienced mechanics, a practical entry test) recommends the right starting point. Job title or years of experience alone don’t decide it.
Subjects describe what you learn; your duration route is the journey you enrol on. Every route covers these areas at the depth your starting point needs — they’re never sold separately.
Every route starts online and moves into supervised physical training. You’re assessed on what you can actually do.
Short recorded lessons, live classes, diagrams, calculations and guided cases — phone-friendly, with captions, downloads and replays. Online weeks are about 15 hours, with live sessions on weekday evenings.
Physical weeks are 30 supervised hours: about 6 hours of explanation and demonstration and 24 hours of supervised workshop tasks, case work and evidence capture.
You start with small tasks, then join a complete service, repair or conversion case — from the customer requirement to the final verified result. Group projects still have named individual tasks.
A personal learning plan, weekly progress reviews, trainer feedback, scheduled catch-up sessions, a question channel and portfolio reviews.
Our mission: develop technicians who can explain their work, diagnose with evidence, repair with discipline and apply the skills the move to electric mobility needs.
Attendance and video completion support your record, but they don’t replace demonstrated practical competence. A safety failure can’t be averaged away.

Pass at 70% overall and in each knowledge module, with every mandatory practical outcome and critical safety item passed. Merit 80–89, Distinction 90–100.
Successful learners receive the DMECH completion certificate for their route and an assessed skills transcript. Any external qualification will be identified separately in the course offer, including its awarding body, eligibility, assessment and fees.
The transcript lists your route, module results, completed hours, observed tasks, project platform and any limits on the work demonstrated — evidence an employer can use. “Advanced” describes the depth of the DMECH programme, not a regulated qualification level.
Instructors are appointed to specific teaching roles after their experience and competence are verified. We’ll name them here once appointments are confirmed and they’ve agreed to be featured.

Live traction-battery cell repair and open-pack energised work are outside the launch programmes.
Tuition covers the whole route, including the conversion stage. Your written offer confirms the dates and amounts before you pay anything.

Accommodation is optional and depends on availability. It’s charged from your agreed check-in date — usually when physical classes begin — not during the online weeks. Meals and transport are not included.
Payment plan. Pay the first tuition instalment and the registration fee before the course starts, then the rest in scheduled instalments. No instalment surcharge — paying in full costs the same. Your signed offer lists the actual dates.
Tuition includes. Scheduled online lessons, supervised practical teaching, shared training rigs and tools, ordinary training consumables, course notes, basic personal workshop PPE, scheduled assessments, one scheduled reassessment per unit, the DMECH completion award and a digital skills transcript.
Not included. Hostel, meals, personal transport, personal internet/data, optional personal tool kits and any separately approved external qualification fees. You never have to buy a donor vehicle or conversion kit.
An accepted offer locks your route price. Tuition covers the whole route, including its conversion stage — the four subject areas are never charged separately.
Placement support and employer introductions help you progress; employment is not guaranteed.

Direct 6-month entry needs at least 70/100 on the entry test, 60% in every area and every critical safety item passed; developing technicians take the 12-month route and complete beginners the 24-month route.
No. The four subject areas — diagnostics, EV systems, retrofit and workshop operations — are part of your duration route. You pay one tuition fee for the route, which already includes its conversion stage.
No. Online assignments use photos, diagrams, recorded demonstrations and datasets. You need a smartphone or computer and internet access — if that’s a problem, ask about supported study sessions at the centre.

The launch intake is for adults aged 18 and above. Applications are open to women and men.
Optional shared accommodation is planned. Tell us when you register interest — a request doesn’t reserve a bed. Availability, charges and terms are confirmed separately, and you get a clear decision before you travel. Day students don’t need it.

You pay the first instalment before the course starts and the rest during the course — no instalment surcharge. Only pay through the verified channel and invoice reference in your offer. Sponsors and employers can also fund places.
